Idea
After completion of madhmaheshwer trek next 2 month I was busy in Dec I got an idea to complete my dream trek Annapurna circuit, but unfortunately because of covid Nepal gov not allowed outsider . I asked Ankit pant what to do tell me some good winter trek for dec 2020 . He told a good and easy winter Trek kedarnath.
Where it is
Kedarnath is very famous terk special in south indians it situated 180 km from deharadun in Uttarkashi region. I started my journey from HLd sat morning I met with Ankit in dun take a night stay at his relatives in dun. Next morning we need to get morning bus for sankari village which need to take full day after a hectic hill area journey we reached sankri around 4Pm.
Trekking
Even after hectic journey we plan to start journey it is total 23 km generally trekker take 5 days but we decided first day today we cover 5 -7 km till juda ka talab rest will finish next day.
Next day early morning we woke up early done daily task and done with packing. Took some Breakfast and start next day journey, today’s Target is compling full trek and back to base camp sankari village.
We started just after half HR of trekking snow trek started we meet with people who comming back he commented us for today you guys are late we can’t be completed till top , but we have different plan. When alltitude increase it difficult to go with 12kg trekking bag and top of that we going though shotcut which slop is too much 60 degree. Any how we are at top of kedarnath at 12.
We spent panelty of time taken all 360 degree shots and that time there is no one Ankit capture all memories do some yoga poses. After one HR we decided to back around 2pm
At 5 pm we reached sankari base camp we both are too much exosted. There is no power remaining in us we took a hotel in 1k. Done dinner and sleept.
Next day we took bus for deharadun at evening we reached dun . Then I took another bus for Haldwani and we finished kedarnath.
